Terri Fox @ Wilbraham Arms, Nantwich View map - Wilbraham Arms Permanent link

Terri Fox

Terri Fox has been delighting audiences worldwide since 1980 with his ultra glamorous female Impersonation act.
His unique talents cross all music genre and tastes, from musical theater ,summer season and cabaret – there isn’t an audience (age or type) that Terri hasn’t performed for and thrilled. Mentored by such unforgettable icons as the late, and great, Danny La Rue and the late FooFoo Lamar, Terri is “entertainment quality” at its finest and is one of the leading female impersonators in the world today.

Terri has performed at prestigious venues throughout England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, with appearances at London’s Savoy Hotel, The Dorchester, The Landmark and Claridges. Overseas work has included appearances in America, Canada, Spain, and France. As a spin off from Terri‘s West End Show, he was asked to perform at the Cannes Film Festival as a celebrity guest. This led him to America where he performed at the Ramada Inn resorts at Fort Lauderdale and in Los Vegas. Back in Europe, he opened a new show at Banalmadana in Marbella and Purto Banus, Costa Del Sol, Spain. Calling it “Terri Fox‘s Palace Cabaret Club”, his show was sold out every single night.

In 1991 Terri wowed audiences with his London West End debut, “The Terri Fox Experience”, which was originally booked for only six months. Due to demand, the show ran for almost 13 months and broke box office records for any show of its kind. Terri has also appeared on numerous TV chat shows, light entertainment productions as well as hundreds of radio shows and press interviews. He also appeared in TV’s “Coronation Street” and had a part in the film “An Inspector Calls” along side actor James Fox.

Terri is definitely so much more than just a “comic in a frock”. He sings, dances, acts, impersonates and also does hilarious stand up comedy. He displays a talent that blasts the notion of “Dressing up in Drag”. Terri‘s shows are elegant, tasteful, professional and extremely funny. He is known by his many thousands of fans all over the world as an ICON

One reviewer said… “The gowns are breathtaking, the wigs are totally stunning , the voice is versatility itself. Terri illuminates women rather than merely impersonating them, walking a fine line between character and caricature, and has never being anything less than hugely funny. He has a sharp wit, is full of human perception and high energy and actually says what most people only dare think!!!”
