Stereotonics @ Nantwich Civic Hall, Nantwich View map - Nantwich Civic Hall Permanent link

Stereotonics

Since forming in 1999, Stereotonics have become one of the UK’s leading tribute bands. With the same vocal style as Kelly Jones, lead singer, Paul, has fined tuned the sound of the band to make it as close to the real thing as possible. Using the same guitars and wearing the same clothes, watching Stereotonics could almost be like watching the real Stereophonics!

The band have a wealth of experience and have done over 1000 gigs since they started. They are often seen on the festival scene throughout the spring and summer months and play to large crowds that can range from anything from 500 people to a staggering 10,000!! They have also traveled the globe performing all over the UK, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, France, Belgium, Ireland, Holland and even one memorable trip to the Caribbean!

Even Kelly Jones (from the REAL Stereophonics) has heard the band and his first reaction was, “They sound just like we did years ago!”

If its good enough for Kelly, we’re sure its good enough for everyone else!!

Marblehead Johnson

The ultimate tribute to the classic UK Britpop era.

Named after the classic Bluetones Britpop anthem, Marblehead Johnson pay tribute to the British Britpop music scene, bringing the recreated Britpop hits up-to-date in a powerful combination of passion and quality akin to the harder-hitting sound that the bands produced in their live shows.

Playing songs from Blur, Paul Weller, The Verve, Ocean Colour Scene, Supergrass, Pulp and, of course, Oasis, glory in the anthems that brought British alternative rock into the mainstream with a tip and a wink to the backbone of the movement from the likes of The Who, The Kinks and The Jam.

If you've been one of my much appreciated customers, or just love live rock music, please join me on Saturday 25th September at the Railway Hotel. Electro 80's @ The Studio, Nantwich View map - The Studio Permanent link

Electro 80's

The Eighties were a time of radical changes in both music and fashion.

In the aftermath of the punk revolution, daring New Romantics embraced developing sounds and technologies to transform the music industry forever.

Gary Numan, The Human League, Kraftwerk & Depeche Mode all helped to create a totally new genre of music; Electronica or Synth-pop, a futuristic new sound that almost seemed like science fiction at the time.

Electro 80's pay tribute to this era, and have lovingly recreated songs by the afore mentioned pioneers (and many more), to create a live entertainment show that is sure to transport everyone from this generation, back to the days of underground club scenes and even school discos.

Unforgettable classics like Fade to Grey and Just Can't Get Enough are performed alongside lesser-known tracks, which will jog your memory in a nostalgic show that is both visually and acoustically stunning.

Doors 8.30pm.

Arrive early there is only room for 350 in our standing only Live Room,

It’s FREE ENTRY with donations on the door to our local food bank that helps so many people, please be generous if you can.

AFTER PARTY until very late if you can keep going! See you on the dancefloor...
